Celtic Harp

Celtic harp

Joanna Mell has been performing in the East Coast Metropolitan area for 25 years. She has won numerous first place awards for singing in English and Gaelic and was one of ten finalists in the Sean Nos category of singing in the All-Ireland Championships in 1985. With her vibrant and warm presence, Joanna has the ability to establish an immediate intimate rapport with her audience. In addition to being an accomplished harpist and singer, she is a gifted storyteller, drawing both on her knowledge of Celtic lore and her imagination to enhance her performances of Irish, Scottish, Welsh and Breton pieces. Joanna is equally fluent in traditional and contemporary interpretations of Celtic music.
